Street children in Turkey

This is the group of street children that I worked with in Istanbul, Turkey. They were great. Mainly, I was a mentor to them, by helping them with issues of safety and ways to gain education. I also played a lot of football (soccer) with them. They are the reason that I would really like to start a free education and safe haven center for street children/workers in Istanbul.

These children were really mainly in need of protection, I personally saw some of them get beat by police and random citizen who didn't like them being on the streets.
